Welcome to VolleyForm. By using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

The Deal: Free Service in Exchange for Training Data

VolleyForm is provided free of charge. In exchange, any videos you upload to our platform may be used to train and improve our machine learning models. This helps us make VolleyForm better for everyone. We will never share your videos directly with third parties without your explicit consent.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VolleyForm, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. The Service

VolleyForm provides AI-powered volleyball technique analysis and injury prevention tools. The service includes:

On-device video analysis using pose estimation
Technique feedback and scoring
Progress tracking over time
Coach labeling tools for training data

3. Video Content and ML Training License

What You're Agreeing To

When you upload videos to VolleyForm (through the coach labeling tool or any other upload feature), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

Use for ML Training: Process your videos to train, improve, and develop our machine learning models and AI algorithms
Create Derivatives: Generate pose data, anonymized statistics, and model improvements from your content
Retain for Research: Keep copies of uploaded content for ongoing model improvement and research purposes

4. What We Will NOT Do

We commit to the following protections for your content:

No Direct Sharing: We will never share, sell, or distribute your raw video files to third parties without your explicit written consent
No Public Display: Your videos will not be publicly displayed, posted, or used in marketing materials without your permission
No Sale of Videos: We will never sell your video content
No Identity Disclosure: We will not disclose your identity in connection with any ML models or research derived from your content

5. Your Responsibilities

When uploading content, you represent and warrant that:

You own the content or have permission to upload it
All individuals in the videos have consented to being recorded and to this use
The content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
You are at least 13 years old (or have parental consent)

6. On-Device Processing

Videos analyzed through the VolleyForm iOS app are processed on your device and are NOT subject to the ML training license above. Only videos you explicitly upload through our web tools or cloud features are covered by Section 3.

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion:

Your profile and personal data will be removed
Previously uploaded videos that have been incorporated into ML training datasets may be retained in anonymized/processed form
You may request deletion of unprocessed uploads by contacting us

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

VolleyForm is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our analysis will prevent injuries or improve your performance. Always consult with qualified coaches and medical professionals.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VolleyForm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
